Gloria Serra Coch.
architect + urbanist
With a background in architecture and urban design and my recent education in uban planning, my interest lies in being able to bridge the gap between the spatial analysis and the project, the understanding of the place and the design intended. I am interested in exploring the capacities of GIS and other analytical tools to comprehend and include all the perspectives of the urban realm, not only quantifying but also addressing qualificative aspects that highly impact lifes of people in cities.
I have experience managing architectural and urban design projects and I have collaborated with a range of academic research initiatives addressing cities’ challenges. From energy consumption and generation to mobility and unveiling the interplay between design and use in the public realm, my focal is placing the person at the center of the design.
